Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Arabic Life (arabiclife.net), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Arabic Life is operated by JCorp Australia, trading as Tork Network (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 13 may use Arabic Life only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must create and manage the account on their behalf. By creating an account for a child under 13, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms on the child's behalf.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You may sign in using email/password, Google, or Microsoft authentication. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Arabic Life offers the following subscription plans (prices in AUD, inclusive of GST):

• Free — Unit 1, limited features
• Plus — $10/month
• Pro — $20/month
• Family — $30/month

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly cycle via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.

International users may be offered adjusted pricing through our purchasing power parity programme. The applicable price is displayed at checkout.

5. Free Tier

The free tier provides access to Unit 1 with limited platform features. Free accounts do not include access to the AI tutor, advanced exercises, or premium content. We reserve the right to modify free tier inclusions at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account (Family plan members each have individual profiles)
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract content from the platform
• Misuse the AI tutor by attempting to generate content unrelated to Arabic language learning, or by attempting to circumvent its safety guidelines
• Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the platform's operation
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Arabic Life — including exercises, audio recordings, illustrations, curriculum structure, and software — is the property of Tork Network or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. The exercises and learning materials are original works. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

8. User Content

Any data you enter into Arabic Life — including exercise responses, AI tutor conversations, and profile information — remains your property. By using the platform, you grant Tork Network a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and use this data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service. We will not sell your content to third parties.

9. AI Tutor Disclaimer

Arabic Life includes an AI-powered tutor that provides educational assistance with Arabic language learning. The AI tutor is designed to support your studies but is not a substitute for professional language instruction. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. We recommend verifying important information with qualified educators.

10. Third-Party Services

Arabic Life integrates with the following third-party services to deliver the platform:

• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and data hosting
• Anthropic — AI tutor (Claude API)
• Google & Microsoft — OAuth authentication
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email

Your use of the platform is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. We select third-party partners carefully but are not responsible for their independent actions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arabic Life is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Tork Network does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific learning outcomes. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms of Service is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded by agreement. If any provision of these terms conflicts with the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Where possible, we will provide notice before termination and an opportunity to remedy the breach. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately, though we will retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
